The Master of Dental Surgery (MDS) program at Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Medical College is a comprehensive and advanced course designed to provide in-depth knowledge and specialized training in various dental disciplines. Our MDS program is is affiliated to the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (RGUHS), Karnataka, ensuring that the curriculum meets the highest standards of education and clinical training. The MDS program is structured to be completed over a duration of 3 years, during which students undergo rigorous academic and clinical training to become proficient in their chosen dental specialties.

We admit a limited number of students each year to ensure personalized attention and quality education. Currently, our annual student intake for the MDS program is 38.

Admission to the MDS program follows a competitive and transparent procedure. Prospective students can apply through the designated admission process, which may include entrance examinations and interviews. The selection is based on merit, ensuring that the most qualified and dedicated individuals are welcomed into our MDS program.Via the online counseling process administered by the Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) at kea.kar.nic.in, the allocation of seats is contingent upon the decision of KEA.
