Welcome to the B.Sc in Optometry program at Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Medical College. The Optometry program is affiliated to the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (RGUHS), Karnataka, ensuring that our curriculum meets the highest standards in optometry education. The B.Sc in Optometry program spans 3 years and 1 year internship, encompassing both academic and practical training. Students engage in a robust curriculum covering various aspects of optometry, ensuring they are well-prepared for professional practice.

To cultivate a concentrated and favorable learning atmosphere, we adhere to a limited annual enrollment for the Optometry program, offering 10 seats per year.

2 seats are allocated based on merit through online counseling conducted by the Karnataka Examination Authority (kea.kar.nic.in), while the remaining 8 seats are designated by the Management of Dr B R Ambedkar Institute of Allied Health Sciences.
